Common Chromebook keyboard shortcuts
Some Common Chromebook keyboard commands:
1) DELETE KEY : Ctrl + Backspace will function like the delete key on a regular keyboard.
2) PASTE PLAIN TEXT : Ctrl+Shift+V is the keyboard command for pasting plain text.
3) PRINT SCREEN : Ctrl+ "the key above the number 5" (It looks like a square with 2 lines) on the Chromebook keyboard will act as the "Print Screen" button on other keyboards. It will copy the snapshot image in the clipboard to be pasted OR you can edit the image using the Chromebook "Screen Capture" software.
4) NEW PARAGRAPH : Ctrl + Enter will insert a paragraph inside the cell of a Google Sheet document.
5) DELETE PARAGRAPH : Ctrl + Backspace will delete a paragraph inside the cell of a Google Sheet document.
6) Magnify the Chromebook screen : Ctrl + + (Plus symbol).
7) Reduce the Chromebook screen : Ctrl + - (Minus symbol).
8) Reset the Chromebook screen to original settings : Ctrl + 0 (Zero).
9) Right Click: ALT + tap the track pad.
10) WORD (or Character) COUNT : Ctrl+Shift+C will return the Count for Pages, Words, Characters, Characters excluding spaces & allow you to "Display the word count while typing" in Google Docs.
