ChromeOS Printing
Please see the instructions below for how to print from ChromeOS devices at JAARS. These instructions may also apply to printing through the Chrome browser on other devices.
Requirements
Printing via Chrome requires two things:
- Connection to the JAARS campus network through one of the following methods
- Plugged in with a network cable
- Connected to the JAARS-business wifi network
- Connected to the JAARS wifi network
- A device with the Mobility Print application installed
- Devices owned and managed by JAARS should already have this installed. If it appears to be missing, please submit a ticket.
- If your device is not managed by JAARS you will find instructions to install it yourself here. After installation, you may continue following these instructions.
To Print
To print from a ChromeOS device:
- From a page you’d like to print, select , then Print (or press Ctrl+P on your keyboard)
- In the Preview, under Destination, click See More

- The first time you print from ChromeOS you will be prompted to sign in with this screen:

- Enter your Active Directory username and password (typically smithj or jack.smith)
- Look for printers labeled Mobility Print with the icon

- Choose a printer and Print!
