Connecting to "JAARS" Network - Android

From anywhere on the JAARS campus you may access the JAARS wifi network on any of your personal devices. Here's how to connect on an Android phone.

Open your Wifi settings.
1. Swipe down from the top of your screen to pull down the notification center.
2. Touch and hold the Wifi icon
  Open the wifi settings
Tap on the JAARS network
Select the JAARS network
Configure the following settings
1. EAP Method should be PEAP
2. Phase 2 authentication should be MSCHAPV2
3. CA certificate should be Do not validate
  Confirm these three settings
Enter your JAARS username (typically jack.smith, jack_smith, or smithj) and password under Identity and Password. If Anonymous Identity shows on your device leave it blank.
Enter username and password
Finally click Connect
