Play sound from your computer in a Meet presentation

Here are instructions on how to share the sound from your computer to other participants in your Google Meet. For example, you want to show participants a YouTube video with sound.

When you are ready to present your screen, click on the Present Now icon at the bottom/middle of the Meet screen.
Choose A tab. Notice that Google recommends this for best video and animation presentations.

Next, you want to click on the tab that has your video open. Be sure that you have the video open in a tab before you start sharing your presentation.
Click on Share tab audio at the bottom/left side and then click the blue Share button.

Click Play on the YouTube video when appropriate to start the video. All participants should hear the audio from the video.
