What happens if there is a tornado or shelter in place?
When a Tornado warning is issued, seek shelter. Shelter should be at the lowest level of the building and away from windows and doors. Ask your supervisor/manager about where the designated Shelter in Place (SiP) location is. Once everyone is at the SiP location, take a headcount and inform someone (the Safety & Security (S&S) Department, a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), a spouse, etc.) of the amount of people in the building.
Once you receive communications from the SLT or S&S or the weather service that the tornado has passed, you can resume normal business operations.
