Reset My Forgotten Password Using IdP
Follow the steps below to reset your JAARS IdP (Identity Profile) password for Windows, Google, Salesforce, Netsuite and JAARS People logins.
Step 1:
Go to jaars.iidp.net. To find this page go to one of the following:
- Type the web address jaars.iidp.net in a new browser tab or
- Click on this link: jaars.iidp.net or
- Click on the Change your password bookmark in your Chrome browser JAARS bookmark bar folder.
Step 2:
Click on Forgot password?
Step 3:
Enter your JAARS username and then click on SEND ME A LINK. This is your email username in the first.last format. You do not need to include @jaars.org
Step 4:
Check your JAARS email Inbox and move to Step 5.
If you do not have access to your JAARS Inbox because you are resetting your password to be able to log in to Google, you can use an alternate email to receive the password reset link. Your alternate email address will appear in the Email Sent notification as seen below in the red box. Click on the blue triangle to send to this alternate email Inbox.
If you do not have an alternate email address listed and cannot access your JAARS Google Inbox you will need to submit a helpdesk ticket for a technology coach to assist you.
Step 5:
Go to the Inbox of your JAARS email account or your alternative email account and follow the instructions in the email message to finish the reset process.
PLEASE NOTE: The password reset link will expire 6 hours after the email with the reset link is sent. If your link has expired, you will need to repeat Steps 1-5.
