ReCaptcha Checkbox (i.e. I'm not a robot)
What is reCAPTCHA?
reCAPTCHA is a free service from Google that helps protect websites from spam and abuse. A “CAPTCHA” is a Turing test to tell humans and bots apart. It is easy for humans to solve, but hard for “bots” and other malicious software to figure out. By adding reCAPTCHA to a site, you can block automated software.
Why am I being asked if I am a Robot?
Our Help Desk site is open to anyone on the internet to enter a ticket. This will allow our tenants on the JAARS campus (e.g. Wycliffe, SIL, TSC, etc.) to submit tickets for help while not having a JAARS Workspace account. When a user is not signed into our Help Desk, they are asked if they are a Robot to verify they are human so that we can limit "bots" and other malicious software from submitting unwanted tickets.
Can I stop being asked this question?
If you are asked if you are a Robot, simply log in to the Helpdesk first. To do this, click on the LOGIN button in the upper right corner and use the JAARS Workspace Staff Login ONLY button to sign in to the Help Desk with your Workspace account before you fill out the fields to submit your ticket.
