Workaround: (o) or other characters repeating in emails
There is a bug in the Yeastar Linkus for Google Chrome extension which is causing the number detection feature to duplicate characters. This appears to be almost any characters contained in parentheses preceding a phone number which the browser extension detects and turns into a clickable link for "Click to call." Most reported cases have been for the "(o)" in JAARS email signatures.
The recommended workaround from the developer is to add affected sites to the blocklist in the browser extension options. Instructions for how to do this are included in the knowledge base articles below. Adding sites to the blocklist temporarily as you encounter this issue is the best option if you wish to maintain click to call functionality on other websites.
